Break Fast

Wearing: Blouse - H&M, Leggings- Forever 21, Necklace - American Apparel

It was that time of year again... Yom Kippur! It was so nice having people over for the holiday to break the fast. Not that I have ever fasted before but I definitely munched down like I did. We got Zabars shipped over from New York as we were desperately in need for some delicious NY bagels. Wanted to look chic yet not too decked so I threw on my white sleeveless H&M blouse with my racing stripe leggings - cute & cozy all the way. To top it off with a cool accessory, I put on my gold chain necklace from American Apparel. This last pic is of my Mommy & I - wanted to give her a special shout-out as she is truly the best mom out there. Enjoy the weekend!! Xx

School Daze

Wearing: Shorts - H&M, Shirt - BDG, Necklace - Urban Outfitters, Boots - Steve Madden, Bag - H&M, Sunnies - Ray Ban

Yes this is my beautiful school in the background, hello Santa Monica College. So these shorts are new for the Fall, I love the wool tweed pattern on them. Decided to dress them down with my black burnout T-Shirt. I have this shirt in a few different colors... I love the vintage, relaxed-chic look that it gives off. Just bought this geometric square ring at the one & only Melrose Trading Post... my favorite place to be at on Sundays! Love my Libra necklace that I bought at Urban Outfitters a few years ago... it's really special to me as I am a true Libra at heart.

Camo Time

It's official! The camo trend is back in action and bigger & better than ever. I have always been a strong admirer of this trend, as I remember wearing my little camo jacket all through-out elementary school way back when. I'm really loving this military, camo-print, war-like craze... There is definitely something about menswear that is super chic, especially paired with some feminine pieces such as bright-colored pumps or boyfriend jeans. I am seeing this trend everywhere, it's like a fashion explosion. This fad presents such a strong image, I cannot get enough of it.

Stairway to Heaven

Wearing: Tank - Brandy Melville, Skirt - Calypso, Shoes - Nine West, Bag - H&M, Hat - Urban Outfitters

So this skirt was my mom's back in the day (and by back in the day, I really mean just a few years ago), but it's now mine. I love the delicate, bohemian feel of it... you can definitely dress it both up and down.  I love mixing feminine pieces, like this light pink skirt, with some harsher colors, like my favorite black hat. It creates some contrast and gives off that girly girl with an edge vibe. I'm so not used to this day after day beautiful weather in LA, I have to admit I do miss the Fall back east (my favorite season). Ready for it to start cooling off out here already!

Cozy Chic

Wearing: Top - Anthropologie, Shorts - James Perse, Bag - Louis Vuitton, Wedges - Shoemint, Sunnies - H&M

So I decided to try out a cozy chic look today, as I had to run a few errands/wanted to be comfortable & cute. The top & shorts put together are the perfect pair of pajamas, but I thought throwing on my favorite wedges would dress it up and give it that extra effortless look. Oh, and I'm a huge fan of the warm earthy tones incorporated in this outfit... reminds me so much of my Urban Decay Naked Palette (obsession).

Meet Ashley

Here's a little guest post on Ashley (a fellow blogger) - be sure to check out her amazing blog here !

1 - What inspired you to start blogging?
I have always loved fashion and writing has been a hobby of mine for a while. So if you combine those two things, it makes fashion blogging! I was inspired by my brother to start blogging. He is an interior design/architecture blogger and I would have to say he did heavily encourage me to get involved in blogging.

2 - What's your favorite fall trend?
Probably Cap Toe heels! I am so in love with them! But I do like a lot of other trends such as studded leather jackets and the whole ombre thing as well.

3 - What are some blogs you look at on the daily?
I try to mix and match and read many blogs so I can get loads of different inspiration from different angles. But the blogs that I chow down regularly are LPF FashionPhilosophy, Ring My Bell, Atlantic Pacific, etc.

4 - What are you up to when your not blogging?
Well when I am not blogging, I am usually with my friends or at school or sometimes chilling with my family. It really depends, I am involved in so many different things. Whether it is sports or music - I do it all!

5 - What is your favorite go-to outfit?
Whenever I can not decide what to wear, my favorite go-to outfit is a simple colored dress with a tan blazer (tan blazers look really nice for some reason) and I would match that with either boots or flats or anything! Then I will just put a big fun necklace and that is it!

Dare for Deco

Shirt - Forever 21, Shorts - Vintage, Shoes - Dolce Vita, Sunnies - H&M, Bag - Rebecca Norman

Bought this lovely shirt a few years ago and only wore it once! I decided to throw it on and give it another try... and it definitely wasn't a fail in my eyes. I love rediscovering pieces that have been hidden in my closet for so long and seeing what else I can do with them, even years later after purchasing them. Got these adorable denim cutoffs at Wasteland recently, they were a no-brainer. I love the acid-wash, patchy vibe they give off - so retro. These navy Dolce Vita wedges have been coming in handy alright, so chic and sexy. Happy Tuesday everyone, have a good week!!

Street Style

Just a daily dose of some street style that I stumbled upon and adored. From fun flirty dresses to simply striped T-shirts to sleek black leather skirts - I'm a fan of it all. Whether it's looking at other blogs or even skimming through magazines, there is always room for  inspiration.
