Come & Get It

Wearing: Dress - Millau, Bag - Talbots, Shoes - Charlotte Russe, Hat - Urban Outfitters

Hello everyone! So these pics were shot back when I was in LA, featuring one of my favorite dresses! Just realized that I totally forgot to get a shot of the back (the best part) but I'll just have to show you guys next time I wear it! I got it from Wasteland for $28 when it originally went for almost $200 at LF Stores - greaaat bargain, I'll say. Not going to give away too much, but these pictures were taken to be featured in yet another magazine! I'm sooo excited to be in another magazine as I was recently featured in ELLE Girl Japan (see here). Oh and I decided to title this post, "Come & Get It," because #1 - I love Selena Gomez and #2 - I love the phrase, as it signifies to me to never hold back, if you want something, go and get it people! Hope you're all having a great week so far, can't believe June is almost over! Xx, A.

Studly Me

Wearing: Shirt - Torn by Ronny Kobo , Shorts - Wrangler, Bag - Zara, Shoes - Shoemint

So I am head over heels in love with these shoes. I found them for just $30 at Crossroads when they actually retail for $80 - nothing like a great bargain!! I'm not usually one for studs on shoes as I think it can be a bit much, but I just think that these are so fierce and edgy yet can be so glamorous and elegant (when worn the right way that is). I chose to dress them down here by pairing them with these thrifted Wrangler cutoffs that I just purchased at Wasteland (will be wearing these almost everyday this summer so beware). This red crossbody bag from Zara gives this ensemble the perfect pop of color - a hint of red can really do much, agreed? Anyways, I hope everyone has an amazing weekend!! I'm off to NY tomorrow.. so excited! Please be sure to stay updated with me via Twitter & Instagram (@amandanort).

Orange Crush

Wearing: Shirt - Poupette St Barth, Shorts - Vintage, Shoes - Dolce Vita, Sunnies - Target

So I am head over heels in love with this shirt. The colors, the pattern, the structure - I die. Have to give my mom props since it is hers (she loves when I give her a shout-out while wearing her pieces on the blog). Love you mama! These sunnies from Target are the perfect pair of girly, statement glasses to throw on & spruce up any outfit. Sorry for the overload of pics... sometimes I just can't narrow it down! Off to New York next week for two whole months... I will miss LA so much but I am so beyond excited to be home with my friends/family this summer, just kick back, and enjoy the best time of the year. Finals week coming up for me, wish me luck! New posts coming soon!

Summertime Blues

Wearing: Shirt - byCORPUS, Shorts - Forever 21, Bag - Ecote, Shoes - Sam Edelman, Earrings - Urban Outfitters, Sunnies - Ray-Ban

Someone's got a case of the summertime blues, me! So I stole these shorts from my mom, I just cannot get enough of the color - turquoise is my obsession. If I could dress in head to toe turquoise everyday, I would. Actually that may be a bit much, and a little blinding, agreed? But it really is the perfect color to rock during the long summer months and not to mention, it makes you look extremely tan. Pairing just about anything with stripes adds a touch of class and sophistication. You just can't ever go wrong with stripes, as they look great with it all. These heels from Sam Edelman are a new addition to my closet, I love that the heel is so thick since me in stilettos = danger. Not the best at walking in heels, but I have a feeling that these will do me good! Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed this post my loves! More soon! Xx, A.

Neighborhood Watch

Wearing: Shirt - H&M, Blazer - Gentle Fawn (gifted), Jeans - Vintage, Shoes - TOMS, Bag - Talbots, Belt - Vintage

Happy Monday my chic geeks! Wanted to start the month of June off just right by sharing one of my favorite outfit posts with you all. I just simply cannot get enough of this beautiful street that I stumbled upon in West Hollywood the other day. It's so charming and not to mention, it's in my favorite area - definitely need to go apartment hunting around there after the summer. From the ivy walls to the purple petals laying beneath me (which just so happened to bring out the color in my shirt)... LA is simply looking more enchanted than ever in these shots I got. Moving on, isn't this peplum top from H&M so understated and elegant? I just love a peplum that's more subtle than severe, don't you agree? Borrowed these adorable new TOMS from my mom... crochet all the way baby! And I'm most certainly getting great use out of this gifted blazer from Gentle Fawn, it's the perfect transitional piece in my eyes. That's all for today my loves! Until next time, A.
